2013 AIANY Professional Practice Leadership Series
This refresh of our popular AFTL series provides focus on the entire arc of Professional Practice, tied to the experience of the professional. The Leadership Series will be offered in three parts: one for students, one for new or future firm owners/leaders and a series of lectures for prior attendees and experienced practitioners who are seeking in-depth exploration and best-practices on topics material to leading an architectural practice.
Leading Architecture in a Changing World (Series)
This series provides additional focus on the new world of professional practice: post-recession, new media, more diverse service offerings across our profession, and more. The series also incorporates feedback from previous programs to meet the needs of mid-career and entrepreneurial professionals who are looking for more in-depth content to inform both established practices and new ventures. Where possible, practicing professionals are paired with industry experts to bring a unique perspective on a range of business topics.

Series Summary: The Architects' Fast-Track Leadership Series (AFTL) is a ten session series. Instructors are firm principals and/or recognized professional practice leaders, with expertise in the session topic. The series is designed to provide up and coming firm members a practical exploration of practice management topics which will aide them as they transition to leadership roles. The intended audiences are interns and mid-career associates who are motivated toward developing their firm management skills.
