Technology
The Technology Committee of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York Chapter is a very active group that hosts monthly lectures on technology and its influence on design, process, architectural practice and related professions.
Join us! Joining means simply being on our mailing list and attending a meeting if it is of interest to you. To be added to our mailing list, simply send an email to the Committee Co-Chairs, Erleen Hatfield at erleen.hatfield@burohappold.com or Paul Seletsky at PSeletsky@ArcSphere.com.
We're open to everyone in the design and technology professions. You do not have to be an AIA member, or a licensed architect for that matter. You don't even have to be in New York. We currently have over 1,000 people on our email list. Generally 100-120 people attend our monthly meetings.
We meet monthly, typically on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, at 6:00 pm for 1.5 to 2 hours at the Center for Architecture in Tafel Hall, located on the lower level. The lectures are typically accredited for Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
