Members of the AIA were for many years able to take part in an AIA Trust group health plan, however, the AIA no longer offers an endorsed group health insurance plan for members. The AIA Trust has a referral service and alternate plans which members can consult.
The AIA New York Chapter Member Services committee felt that there are factors which are rather unique to the New York market and that it would be beneficial, particularly for our Sole Practitioners, to have access to personalized guidance through the health insurance industry in NYC.
Therefore, below is a short list of brokerage firms that have expressed a particular interest in working with our members to meet their health care needs. Each firm has broad and intricate knowledge about the benefits and shortfalls of each of the insurance company plans; and can help guide you to the most comprehensive plans for your needs at competitive prices.
