AIANY Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is an elected body that submits the elective slate to the Board of Directors and the membership for vote at the Annual Meeting held each June. The committee includes five (5) members, four (4) are elected by the chapter members. The fifth is the Immediate past president.

The AIA New York Chapter 2012 Nominating Committee is now accepting recommendations and self-referrals for Chapter service through its Board and committees in 2013.
The Nominating Committee is an elected body that submits the elective slate to the Board of Directors and the membership for vote at the Annual Meeting held each June.
Service with the Chapter helps to shape the programming, initiatives and message of the AIA New York Chapter. The Board meets bi-monthly with extra meetings and event commitments dependent on the position to which an individual is elected. Elective committees usually meet monthly throughout the year, though the Fellows and Honors Committees have intensive meetings leading up to the Annual Meeting. Each candidates should consider his/her schedule and availability carefully when applying.
Recommendations should include:
1. Cover letter indicating areas of interest for service
2. Brief 1 page resume
3. Complete contact information: Name, Address, email, telephone
