Fredette Architects

Fredette Architects, PLLC provides comprehensive architectural services for all phases of planning and design through construction administration -- with a serious interest in high performance, sustainable and LEED® certified projects. We are experienced professionals committed to excellence and integrity. Both partners are licensed Architects and hold National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certification.

Using integrative thinking, Fredette Architects assists Clients with three kinds of projects:

ARCHITECTURE projects range from small, thoughtful adaptive reuse of heritage properties, to elegant executive offices and a high-tech dental building.

CONSULTING projects range from LEED® consulting for a $25M gut renovation of a 1908 SUNY campus landmark, to technical consulting for state-of-the-art hospitals, and construction consulting as an integrity monitor for a high-security public project.

EDUCATION projects involve formal work as a professor, as well as an informal approach to architectural projects that embraces lifelong learning for all. Diane Kaufman Fredette teaches courses on architecture and sustainable design in university curriculums and serves as a course reviewer for the U.S. Green Building Council.

The value of each project includes conveying the Owner’s core values, culture and vision in the material and spatial subtleties of the architectural design.

The firm holds architectural registrations in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Connecticut and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council.

Fredette Architects, PLLC is a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) certified with the City of New York, Department of Small Business Services and with New York State through Empire State Development Corporation.
